NOVEMBER 20 - 2003

three months have passed. and there would be too much to talk about, if i had to begin from the start. the major change comes from the fact i have decided to resign from my actual company, and leave for ubi soft, in montreal. i guess that it was time for me to discover something else, new horizons, new atmospheres, new people.
time for a small site revamp. even more minimal? there you have it. i think i'll achieve the ultimate site when there will not be a word left, only images! :s ... here and there, images have been added, old blablas have been updated, go search a bit if you want to see some of the new stuff. you'll find two book covers done for the french book publisher gallimard. darwinia, and ariosto furioso.
during my move, i might not be able to update much, but i'll be there in january 04, as soon as i get a net connection in canada. i wanted to thank all of you peeps who have been visiting my site, giving me advice, and once again, for the ones who haven't received any replies from me yet, don't be too hard on me. it's sometimes hard to keep a proper balance between my kiddies and my wacom. (kiddies drawing on the wacom? yes it works too).

AUGUST 30 - 2003

Time for a big update. i have been pretty busy during august, not only because there was still a lot of work, but also mainly because my little family has expanded! leopold was born on the 22 of august, making me a happy father for the second time. it does make a difference for working hours, and i'll have to rewrite my schedule. well, to be honest,it has been rewritten already.
On the art side, it's been a while since i haven't added anything new, so here's a bunch. stuff that you probably have already seen here and there on art forums. There were also many peeps or sites to whom i wanted to give some late thanx. i'll begin by Agent 44, which had kindly expressed his opinion about my art some time ago. merci my friend. wanted to also thanx cgtalk for giving me these ctgalk awards for "Come with us" and "Man seated". what a huge site, they've reached 50000 members not long ago. My mate aleksi has finally opened his new site. it's called aneyeoni. pay him a visit, he's amazing.
And for the ones who aren't conceptart.org regulars, here's the link to the "daily" gallery on which i post a bunch of stuff whenever i can. it's called Sparth's Spare Parts, and it's been running for a year now, it does make a lot of posts.



JULY 24 - 2003

Sometimes i wonder how it is possible for me to have left my site without any updates for more than a month. i guess that it's a good sign, as it probably means that i'm pretty much occupied.... or it might be because i'm lazy? anyway. not much to add, except a few environment paintings and concept. this slowdowm is probably logical, as i haven't had enough time for myself since last year. on the professional side, i'm still spending all my working time on video game creation for darkworks studio, my second home. hard times too, as the videogame industry isn't going well at all in france. more soon.....
