Les Studios de Basement Production sont situés au coeur de Paris à cinq minutes de Pigalle.
Basement est un endroit pour musiciens, comédiens, danseurs et autres artistes de tous les talents, venus pour répéter, enregistrer ou mettre en oeuvre leurs projets.
Ce n'est pas une usine, c'est un endroit familial et amical, créé par des artistes pour des artistes.

The studios of Basement Production are in the heart of the musical district of Paris, five minutes from Pigalle, well served by public transport. Basement provides rehearsal and recording facilities for musicians of all kinds, actors and actresses and dancers.
Unlike some studios it is not a 'musical factory', it is a friendly, welcoming environment set up and run by artists to enable artists to realise their projects.

 

Les premiers Studios Basement ont été montés en 1993 dans un atelier situé sous un magasin de jouets et ont été déménagés à leur emplacement actuel en Janvier 1994. Basement a été fondé par deux expatriés : le suisse Olivier Furter, ancien menuisier, musicien, et avant tout technicien expert. Et par l'anglais Nick Buxton, ancien employé de bureau, musicien et buveur expert !

The first Basement Studios were set up in a cellar under a toy shop in 1993 and moved to their present premises in January 1994. It was found by two expatriates, a Swiss, Olivier Furter, former carpenter, musician and all round technical expert and an Englishman, Nick Buxton, former personal officer, musician and expert drinker !

   

 

From theses humble beginnings, Basement Productions premises are over 450 square metres housing three fully equiped rehearsal studios, a recording studio with a second under construction, and a large rehearsal space with stage and lighting for theatre groups and dancers.

Basement also provides all those extra services essential for the completion of your projects. Pre mastering and mastering of your CDs, creation of compilations, audio montage on CD, transfer of your old cassettes onto CD, cleaning up and improving the sound of your recordings.
