| Epiphytic
plant, miniature, short stem of 1,5 cm, many roots. Leaves deciduous, obliquely oblong, acute, 4 cm long for 1 cm wide. Flower stalk ramified, very long (up to 55 cm) compared to the foliage. Bracts from 0,3 to 0,5 cm long, ovate. Oblong sepals, obtuse. The dorsal sepal is twice narrower than the lateral sepals but of the same length. Petales oblanceolate-spatulate, obtuse, identical to lateral sepals. Lip 3-lobed. Lateral lobes erect, oblong-rectangular. The posterior margin is decorated of an outgrowth in shape of tooth. Midlobe obovate, obtuse-round-off, with a dorsal keel. Apex on both sides provided with a pair of smallsub-apical reflexed flap. Disc provided with two callus superimposed. The posterior callus is short, bifide. The former callus larger, is more erect and bidentate. Column erect of 0,7 cm long. Pedicellate ovary of 2,2 cm. |

eight to ten flowers pale pink with darker lip. Regarded as synonym of Phalaenopsis stobartiana by Sweet. In addition to the color, the difference is notable on the level of the apex of the midlobe which is widened. Plant of altitude (nearly 2000 m) |
