Works included in "The Virtual Geological Library" are the property of their authors (and/or publishers). They are used by permission. There are actually 4 sections: the main library hosting our own e-books and e-papers; the annex hosting maps, charts, photos, and drawings; the exchange section with links to other geology-related e-books and e-papers; the clip art pages with many fossil images for your use (Please first read our "How to Use Clip Arts" section hereafter!).

Permission is granted to download any clip art images for non-commercial use only with the following restrictions:
- Any reproduction must be unaltered from its original downloaded form. This includes, but is not limited to renaming, resizing, cropping, or colorization.
