Created in 1993,
Erro
Bat,
loyal to the tradition, wants to be a seed of cultural
revival in Euskal Herri (Basque Country). Corporative,
country, religious or war dances and religious, secular
or festive songs recall the feelings, the soul, the
faith and the strength of character of the Basque
People.
The
Basque chorus and ballet of Erro Bat, the «
joaldunak
» (carnivalesque characters bell ringers), and
the « txistulariak
» (traditionnal musicians) have became the ambassadors
of Bayonne and the basque country in France as in
foreign countries (Deutshland, Portugal, Irland, Poland,
Italy, Martinique, Cuba, United States, Canada…).
