I have lived in France for fifteen years. Dressmaker by profession, fabrics are my passion.

My "Belles Costumées" dolls are inspired by the costumes worn around the 16th to 19th centuries.

I use French Provencal fabrics, lace and raw silks.

I have always loved making dolls. My first project when I was eight was a "gonk", I then made string puppets and finally dolls. The trouble is parting with them, one somehow becomes attached!

My mother made me my first rag doll which I loved and I hope you and yours get as much pleasure from one of mine.

All my dolls are intirely made by myself. No glue is used in their making
