This site started as a result of a desire to put things down on paper (albeit in an electronic form) and share them with anyone who is interested. However, it has now grown (in terms of visitors) to such a size that it needs to be re-developed so that it is easier to update and will, thus, get updated more often.Thus.... This site will no longer be updated. My new Family & Friends site is to be found at http://www.BretonDiary.com
The new site follows the same format, so it shouldn't come as too much of a shock to those of you who are used to this site. However, the underlying code is cleaner and, as such, will be easier to maintain.
I hope that you'll come and take a look at BretonDiary and, find out what I'm up to.
I'd like to thank anyone who has visited this site (and, especially, those who have commented on it). Your encouragement has convinced me to keep on posting occasional (but, hopefully now, more frequent) thoughts, articles and (at BretonDiary) diary updates.
My other sites are...
http://www.BretonDiary.com which is my new Family and Friends website. It contains my diary entries and thoughts about cooking and eating and anything else that comes to mind. There's also a Photos Page with all too many pictures of my naughty cats!
http://www.kmeckstein.com This is where I talk about keeping IT simple, cheap and fun to use. Although I use various flavours of Linux (rather than Microsoft operating systems), most of what I talk about here can be translated (without too much effort) for those of you who don't use Linux. And, I promise you, I am aware that most of you haven't spent years in the Server Room so I do try to keep the technical language down to a minimum (and explain it when it has to be used).
http://www.KeithEckstein.com Here I put my thoughts about reading and writing. The things that matter most to me! You'll find my reviews of books I've read, ideas about how to write and, a whole lot of useful links, as well.
http://www.MushroomDiary.com My mushrooming site. I love mushrooming and I love talking about it. And it is here, as well as in the bar, at work and, to anyone who'll listen, I get my chance to talk about it. Expect to receive more information than you ever wanted to know about what kit to buy, where to find your mushrooms (and when) and what to do with them (once you've found them) - don't say you haven't been warned!
Once again, thank you for coming and visiting me here - I'll hoope that you'll come and visit me at my internet homes.
All the best
Keith
