MY AMBITION

I want to suggest that the hill inside the pyramid could be higher than it seems.
If I am right, it could be very important.

INTRODUCTION

The Great pyramid is built on a hill (grey).
Between the summit of the hill (A) and the botton of the Grand Gallery (B), a deep and thin round well crosses the masonry (about 80 cm x 15 m). It is called "the well shaft".
It seems that it has been dug through the layers of the pyramid to allow guards to leave the pyramid after the pharao's burial.
A hollow, to the summit of the hill, has been plugged with mortar. It seems that a robber dug the mortar. The hole in the mortar is called "The grotto".

It is the official explanation. It seems to be obvious, but I would like to suggest you that a part of this masonry is not the one of the layers of the pyramid.

DEMONSTRATION

Let's suppose:
Pharaoh wants to dig a narrow and deep shaft through a hill (15 cm x 15 cm x 10 m), between the summit of the hill and an underground cave.

It is very difficult to do that because Egyptians didn't have a trepan (a tool like the one used to find petroleum).

The solution:
First, they must dig a large and deep well (about 2 m x 2 m x 10 m).
Then, they will stack stones in the well, with a hole inside each stone (15 cm x 15 cm). (The alignment of holes forms a shaft.)
In the underground cave, they build a squared wall to uphold the breakthroughs stones.

A robber (a Very Important Person, perhaps a pharao, a prince or a high priest) finds the underground cave.
He sees a hole to the ceiling, the opening of a shaft.
He decides to find where this shaft leads.
He enlarges the shaft and finds the GG.
He decides to use the underground cave as his tomb.
After the burial, a part of the underground cave is plugged with mortar to protect his tomb. Later, a robber dig a hole in the mortar.

My hypothesis

If the well is dug through the layers of the pyramid, the stones of the well should be as high as the layers of the pyramid.

According to the plan of GOIDIN & DORMION, it seems to be true over about 14 meters and false below.

But, according to the plan of MARAGIOLO & RINALDI, it seems to be false under 21,7 meters (under the Keen passageway).

Stones of the well should be relatively small to be inserted more easily in the well.

I think that egyptologists know the well shaft very well.
So, they will be able to arbitrate.
