From the countryside near to the city of Toulouse we welcome
you to my Gîte "Plaisance du Touch"
, named for the small town in which it resides.
"Plaisance du Touch"
offers spacious accommodation for up
to 10 people, plus a baby, with 4 double bedrooms, two comfortable
lounges each with English TV, separate bathroom and shower room, two fully fitted kitchens as well as a covered
"summer" pool bar kitchen plus a second covered area, with patio
and BBQ, beside the large swimming pool, heated by solar panels.
Internet access is provided by a Wi-Fi Router. So e-mails are always
accessible.
Ideal for either large groups, two families travelling together or couples, the Gîte can be separated into two,
internally securely separated units. The first would then accommodate up to 6 with 3 double bedrooms and the
second up to 4 with an en-suite double bedroom and 2 on a sofa-bed if
required.
Each unit is totally self-contained with it's own Lounge / Dining
/ TV Area and fully fitted Kitchen, access to the pool and a separate
Terrace with tables and chairs.

The small town of Plaisance du Touch is in the Haute-Garonne region of the Midi-Pyrénées
in the South-West of France.
Just 15 kms away, the city
of Toulouse is an attractive,
fast growing, historic city with a great deal of character and charm. It is
the gateway to the Pyrénées, the natural border between Spain and France
and is often called "La Ville Rose" (the Pink City), because the buildings are mostly
made of red brick.
Situated between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, some 456 miles from Paris,
it is capital of the great Midi-Pyrénées region and is the 4th largest city
in France.
With more than 700,000 inhabitants and growing steadily,
the greater urban district of Toulouse is among the biggest cities in
southern Europe.
The general quality of life, including the good food, make Toulouse a wonderful place to live, work
and visit.
It's a City with a distinct accent, often celebrated in song and verse. In
contrast Toulouse is the centre for Aviation being the Airbus headquarters
and with a 4 hectare space exhibition park "Cité de
l'Espace".
The fine Occitan City is familiar with the great classics and has an
outstanding cultural and artistic heritage. The many museums, concert halls
and theatres keep the great tradition alive.
Based at "Plaisance du Touch"
you have the opportunity to enjoy a vacation that offers a myriad of
choice of leisure activities. The selection will please both the young and
the young at heart. The Gîte is attached to the main house where we reside
and is 'open' all year.
When it comes time to relax then you can eat at the many restaurants,
visit the Cafés or just spend a relaxing time around the pool whilst
creating your own gastronomic delight on the large garden-grill.
