Gerard HUET is a french small Company with only one man : myself (and eventually a cat, from time to time). The workshop is at Templemars, in the north of France, near Lille.
I started my production in 1989. All my models are in etched brass or nickel nilver and brass castings. The etchings et castings are made in Europe, by the best industrial specialists. The models are generaly sended only ready-to-run, but some wagons are available in kit. All models are assemblied, painted and decorated by myself.
In 1993, I introduced the Proto87 in France and was the first (and only) french supplier of Proto87 models. With two other modellers we create the Proto87 International Team, to make promotion of the Proto87 in Europe. I have also initiate the french proto87 society : Club Proto87.
