Decision making tools, for entreprises and administrations

We are scientific experts, near the organizations or the companies, which need to compare several solutions, to study their validity, their limits, and to use at best the existing resources.

Our commitments ensure that the clients will have full control upon the situation: to know how the technical solutions they use will behave, what are their limitations and imperfections, and so on.

Let's take two examples:

In this very simple second case, we defined the need, defined the algorithms, and wrote the software. But in general, we define the software and a specialized company writes it. In the first example, the decoy-launcher will be provided by a specialized industrial company.

Our work may be summarized by these three words: "analysis, simulation, optimization". To understand the problem, to experiment several solutions, to choose the best one.

Concerned domains:

Here are the main ones (please click here for a complete description):

1. Defense
Finding the best trajectory for a plane, a submarine, a missile, a torpedo, and so on. Protection, decoy, counter-measures.

2. Environment
Emission and propagation of pollutants ; model analysis, sensibility analysis, and so on.

3. Information treatment and protection
Extracting pertinent data, signal analysis, image analysis. Cryptography, watermarking, identification, and so on.

4. Statistics
Employment, social sciences, descriptive statistics, previsions, and so on.

5. Operations Research
Best trajectory, optimal use of resources, planning, and so on.

6. Planification tools
Statistical tools for prevision of sales, of resources, and so on. Affectation tools.

7. Risk analysis
Industrial risks, security perimeter around a factory, analysis of consequences of an accident, and so on.

8. Pharmacy, health
Statistical models in epidemiology, drug or treatment efficiency, and so on.

9. Climate
Climate models, data analysis, evolution prediction.

10. Banking techniques
Evolution models, scenario analysis, and so on.

These domains are not disjoint. For instance, statistics come up as a working domain (employment) but also as a tool for environmental studies, operation research, and so on.

We do not develop general computational software. Such software usually models a physical law (aerodynamism, ...) and can be used in similar situations, if some parameters are adjusted. But their domain is usually restricted, and they cannot solve inverse problems and cannot give information about the validity of the solution.

But we may suggest to our client to use a specific software, if some is available and satisfactory: our own analysis may conduct us to the conclusion that, for a particular problem, a commercial software is the best solution.

Finally, we do not have any proprietary tool. Each time, we find the best way, specific to the problem: this is the insurance of an efficient solution.
