Welcome
A true revolution is in progress: spectrography, before within hands of pioneers and professional astronomers, is now accessible to small amateur telescopes.
To allow you to discover this new dimension in astronomy, we pare proposing performing, reliable, easy to use instruments... at the lowest cost !
Welcome into the magic world of spectroscopy !
NEW: eShel spectroscopy solution
You can now enjoy the efficiency of optic fiber based echelle spectroscopy with the new solution. Look at our eShel web page for a description of each module and some exemple of applications.
Meet us
There are plenty of occasions in the coming month to meet us and discuss your own projects in spectroscopy:
The Society for Astronomical Science hold their symposium in May in California, right before the RTMC. We will certainly participate to both events.
Join us
You can join hundreds of astro-spectroscopists on the Spectro-L distribution list. See there what Lhires III users are doing and look for idea of projects!
Books about spectroscopy & astrophysics
See our short list of books around spectroscopy and astrophysics.
Take proper resolution !
Check out first results on Herbig Ae/Be and T Tauri stars using a Lhires III with an intermediate resolution grating (600 lines/mm).
Solar spectrum taken with a 300 lines/mm grating is also available on our solar project page.
Check also Benjamin Mauclaire low resolution spectral classification done with a 150 lines/mm.
Those gratings are available as accessories. See our performance page for more details!
