This version is a graphic user interface for Windows in order
to drive a compliant SCHAER+
programmer for PIC18.

The actual release is the release 2.02
and is validated for Windows 98. This version is composed
by a main window for every PIC18 manipulated, and a specific DLL load by the
user into memory function to the component used. This involves the code efficiency
for each PIC18 (specific configuration bits for instance). This great idea is
the one of Christophe Hoyon,
main developer of the previous version of PP18.
PP18 release 2.01 is working with Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000 and XP.
The project has been developed in C & C++ code under Borland C++ Builder
3.0. The code is in open-source and distributed under GPL license. All details
about conception, organisation, current state (and developers ;-) are in the
*.txt file of the ZIP. Consult the README.txt file for further informations.

PP18 is composed of 2 parts : the main window common to all the PIC18, and
a specific DLL for each PIC18 used.
After launching the application the ZIF image depicts an empty support without any component inserted. It is so possible to right click on the picture. If the PIC inserted in the hardware programmer is the one expected by the DLL, the ZIF picture changes to display a 40 pins PIC18 device. After detection the DOWNLOAD and UPLOAD buttons are enabled.
