Customized tours of French wine regions.

On a recent trip to Arles , France , we had the pleasure of setting up several tours of the surrounding regions, including customized wine tours, with a charming and knowledgeable English-speaking Arles dentist turned  wine expert, Dr. Martine Laborie.  

Dr. Laborie studied in the Northern California wine region and also spent one year studying in the Burgundy area of France . She also was a wine seller in Paris for two years.  

Her personalized tour for four included a daylong visit to the Châteauneuf du Pape, Côtes du Rhône and Tavel regions with personalized wine tastings at select wineries, including a barrel tasting, arranged in advance. For wine lovers planning to visit Provence , we enthusiastically recommend Dr. Laborie. It costs 75 euros (about $94 US) per person.
